Memories 2

This whole series that I will be uploading this week was shot in my home town or close to it, so please enjoy this walk down memory lane with me over the next 2 weeks.

I would always love going on walks with my camera around town to see what new things I could find. I had walked by this fence a million times but it caught my eye this time. I would wonder the streets for hours taking pictures, drawing what I saw and staring at the clouds to pass the time. This place really struck me because this fence was never closed and the building it secured was crumbling after years of it being abandoned. This image sparked my interest to explore the abandoned shell of what was once a booming business.

This building, over the years, made me realize that the earth will take back everything we have taken from it, its all just a matter of time, like all things, nothing is forever. We are a fleeting moment.

Even to this day when I am in my hometown, I drive by this fence and think of the adventures it sparked.

The fence that secures nothing but still stands.
